A Maison de Maitre style house with the front door in the middle that opens out in the kitchen-area of more than 35 m2, a light space with the fireplace with wood burning stove. The wooden kitchen has a U-shape. Adjacent an extension (17 m2) with doors opening onto a terrace and the garden. Space to be used as a sitting, hobby or TV room. There is a fixed staircase to the floor above the extension, where an office room (as yet without daylight) has been realised. From the kitchen you have access to a storage room, which also gives access to a modern bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. The storage room has an outside door to the garden. On the right a living room (27 m2) with fireplace and with a beautiful wooden floor. The stairs to the floor are in the kitchen.

One of the panel doors gives access to the (children's) bedroom located behind it. For these bedrooms there is a private bathroom with a bath, sink and toilet.

On the attic floor there are two more spacious bedrooms with dormer windows and both have their own bathroom. The charm of the past has been preserved throughout the house through the beautiful wooden floors and beams, fireplaces and the old doors and windows.

A large terrace has been created in front of the house and there is a (ornamental) garden with a pond. The terrace (south-east) continues to the side (west). Here is made of an outbuilding and bar / covered terrace. Diagonally in front of the house are two large barns (9 * 10 meters and 9 * 12 meters). Formerly used for animals. The barn offers many options.

Opposite the house and adjacent to the barn a large canopy / hangar. This is used for parking the cars. But can also serve well as a covered terrace or summer kitchen.

Unfortunately, less attractive additions were ever added to the rear. These extensions can be easily removed. The placement of the barn, the house and the opposite hangar creates a kind of courtyard, which is very charming.

Surprise is the half-immersed swimming pool from which you have a beautiful view over the rolling Limousin landscape!

The property was renovated a few years ago. Electricity and sewerage are adapted to modern requirements, there is central heating through a pellet stove. The bathroom are of recent date.

The department of Haute-Vienne is in the region of Limousin and boasts a varied landscape of forests, countryside and lakes that attract many tourists each year looking for a range of activities including walking, fishing, sailing, boating and skiing.

Transport links are good too, the easy and cheap access from the United Kingdom with companies as Ryanair or from French cities made that Limoges and the Haute-Vienne became an attractive destination. There is also a project of enlargement for Limoges’ airport.
