We look set for another volatile week…

In the UK, Theresa May plans to hold a third vote on her Brexit deal.

But this time there’s a catch.

She is using the threat of a long delay to Brexit to force her deal through. As always, the Pound will be ultra-sensitive to any developments.

The Europeans have plenty of problems of their own.

This weekend in France, violence re-erupted from ‘Yellow-Vest’ protesters.

If President Macron takes a hard-line approach, the situation could quickly escalate. However, if he appeases the protesters it may take France beyond the EU deficit rules, which would have negative consequences for the Euro.

As expected, MPs have voted against a ‘no-deal’ Brexit.

It’s been taken as good news for the Pound, which now sits at 95-week highs against the Euro.

It seems we extend the Brexit chaos into the future.

There’s nothing like a deadline…

Against all the odds, Mrs May has got the EU to agree to last-minute changes to her Brexit deal.

The news has sent Sterling rocketing up to fresh highs.

The Pound was last at these levels way back in May 2017.

But will tonight’s vote in Parliament ruin the party?

Analysts at FX Street think there is still only a 15% chance of the deal getting approved.

It’s set to be a critical week for Sterling…

On Tuesday, Theresa May has one last chance to get her Brexit deal through Parliament.
