Pound Sterling nears 4-week Highs

It’s now sitting near 4-week highs against the Euro and the Australian Dollar.

Against the US Dollar, the Pound has jumped to 2 week highs.

Most of the gains have come in only the last two trading days.

The rise is being attributed to ongoing Brexit talks between Prime Minister May and the Labour Party.

The problem is that even if they agree some sort of deal, there are strong factions in the Conservative Party that will subsequently block it.

This could send the Pound recovery into reverse.
