Yesterday, the Pound hit its highest level against the Euro since May and multi month highs against a number of other currencies.
Firstly, the financial markets turned bullish on Sterling after a gap of nearly two years and then Bloomberg broke the news yesterday afternoon that UK and EU negotiators in Brussels are closing in on a draft Brexit deal.
Of course, any draft deal has to be approved by both the UK and EU Parliaments and by the 27 EU member states so anything is still possible.
