We first contemplated a move across the Channel several years ago, and attended the Earls Court 'French Property Exhibition' to find out what was involved. Whilst this served to increase our enthusiasm for the move, we were bewildered by the range of choices available and the plethora of advice – often conflicting – as to how we should proceed. 

Fortunately, we there identified Cle France as an agency with considerable expertise, offering sound and well fought out advice. 

Cle France sent us regular (and impressively long lists of properties available, and when we eventually decided to make a move we had already decided on Brittany and on the type of property were looking for. 

We arranged a short trip and identified a list of properties that interested us;  from this the Head Office provided us with an itinerary and all of the properties proved relevant to our request – unlike experiences we have had with estate agents in this country! 

The agents in France were all professional, and most helpful and we quickly identified a cottage which we purchased, using money transfer facilities and conveyancing help recommended by Cle France. 

The estate agent was most helpful in negotiating details, talking us through the conveyancing process, providing help with opening a bank account and even advice on local trades-people able to carry out minor repairs to the property before we occupied it. 

We are very pleased that we chose to work with Cle France.
